Mars in the twelfth house gives a desire to help others in unassuming and unrecognized ways as a social service. One may be particularly intrigued by the mystical and hidden occult things. One may also experience social institutions of confinement such as hospitals, prisons, and monasteries or retreats. One usually has the energy to fight one's way out of trouble or adversity. Mars is the planet that represents how we need to use or apply our energy in order to feel fulfilled. When Mars is in the 12th house, we may feel a sense of frustration, or even a repressed, seething anger. It's as if the normal expression of energy is bottled up in a pressure-cooker-like environment of the 12th house. Mars in Capricorn: Energy channelled into ambition, and competitive streak emerges. Possible selfishness towards loved ones. Sex life taken very seriously. Mars in 12th House: This placing indicates a tremendous drive for self-knowledge and analysis. Secretive, with vivid fantasy life, and a genuine interest in counselling. |
